SIMCHAT TORAH ( rejoicing with the Torah)
This is the day when the annual cycle of reading the Torah ends and starts anew.
People dance with the Torah, going in circuits, sing and pray.
Simchat Torah is celebrated on Shemini Atzeret (means the 8th day of assembly) that falls right at the end of the seven day Feast of Sukkot.
