The Paint Shop above the rear of the stage at the Royal Opera House, showing a corner of a backcloth on the small paint frame. The small paint frame was 40 feet wide. Two cloth winch operators can be seen at the end of the room. There are also some trestle tables at the side with pots of glue or paint ;
