CRITICAL MASS ;

One of Gormley's best know works, it is made up of sixty lifesize cast iron body forms. It consists of five casts from twelve moulds of the artist's body, developing from low crouching position to squatting, sitting, kneeling and standing. Critical Mass was made 1995 in direct response to the Remise railway terminus in Vienna ;
